Australia won the series before coming to Bangladesh

The Australian cricket team was cornered after losing the Caribbean T20 series 1-4. However, he turned around in the ODI series. Despite losing the second match, Alex Carey's side beat the host West Indies in the final of the series.

The Australian will arrive in Bangladesh on Thursday afternoon to play a five-match T20 series. Winning such a series before coming to Dhaka will definitely help boost their confidence. However, the Aussies did not do well in the Twenty20 format in the West Indies.


The Caribbean did not reach the series-determining match on Monday night. Kieron Pollard's team was reduced to 152 runs after batting first. In reply, the visitors lost only 4 wickets and won the match in 30.3 overs. Thanks to this they have won the series 2-1.

Evin Lewis, the left-arm opener, won the toss and elected to bat. In the fourth over of the innings, the ball became the leading edge and hit his helmet. As a result, he became a retired heart and went to the toilet.

Two Aussie openers, Moises Henriques (1) and Josh Philip (10), failed to chase the small target. Captain Alex Carey was dismissed for 35 and Mitchell Marsh for 29. However, Matthew Wade led the team to victory with 51 runs in the unbeaten fifty.

Ashton Agar won the Match Sera award for his unbeaten 19 runs after taking two wickets with the ball. Mitchell Starc has been selected as the best player of the series.
